The project uses the principle of high-energy electron beams to kill biological bacteria, and an electronic linear accelerator device designed with a self-shielding structure is mounted on a transport vehicle. The device is flexible and responsive, has no impact on the environment, and can be applied to all types of sudden biological attacks.
The expert group stated that the project has completed all the research contents stipulated in the task contract, and the main technical indicators have met the requirements of the contract; the project has solved key technical problems such as the miniaturization of mobile accelerators, X-ray self-shielding and vehicle modification, and the basic system for development Meet the practical requirements, achieve the development goals and unanimously agreed to pass the results acceptance.
The acceptance expert group consists of 17 experts from more than 10 organizations, including the PLA Research Institute of Chemical Defense, the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Tsinghua University.
